I know there’s a spot saying alternate choices but nothing about looking for employment.  
For me this is a big issue as so many former Convergy’s employees are out of work. I for one am one of those one. I want to go back to school to get my grade 12 as so many doors have been closed on me for lack of experience and not graduating, I stayed at home and raised 3 children not expecting to get divorced later in life. I also dream of becoming a vet tech but even with ei help I can't as I do not make enough on ei. I was told to see if I could get hired at vet office or somewhere else that works with animals and that employment Manitoba might compensate the company as long as I would be eventually guaranteed a full time job after training. I have allergies to flowers, dust mites, mold, pollens but not animals. I found out an office building in not a place for me like Convergy’s as I was off work more then I was at work. I might be working all summer for the humane society which will give me more experience in the field I want to be in. If anyone wants to post about a place to look for employment in an animal health field or any other possible employment ideas for others post here thanks.
