On Friendships

I'm reading this amazing book, 'Anam Cara A Book of Celtic Wisdom'.
I love the author's style. Here's what John O'Donohue says about friendships.
"A friend is different from an acquaintance. Friendship is a deeper and more sacred connection. So a friend is incredibly precious. A friend is a loved one who awakens your life in order to free the wild possiblities within you."
Hmmm, humbling to think about.
