4WD Christmas Convoy

Hello Brandonites,
On Saturday the 15th of December the Westman Jeep Association will be holding its annual 4WD Christmas Convoy.
The objective of the event is to gather together Jeep and 4x4 owners with Christmas and seasonally decorated 4x4's bearing New Unwrapped Toys for mass donation to the Brandon United Way's Traditional Christmas Dinner following a parade style convoy through the city.
The convoy is assembling at the Trans Canada A&W at 11am with a departure time of Noon. It will then head east on the south service road to First Street where it will make its way to Victoria Avenue and westward to KX96/101.1 where the gift donations will be made.
Following the arrival at the radio station there will be a temporary display of decorated 4x4s with prizes to be awarded for the Best Decorated 4x4 and Most Toys Donated by a single party. Anyone with a Jeep or 4x4 interested in being involved in this community support event can simply decorate it for Christmas, bring some New Unwrapped Toy donations, and join us in "Keeping Christmas Magical" for the children.
This is the second year for this event initiated in Brandon by Duncan McInnis of Boissevain, Co-Founder and current President of the Westman Jeep Association. The basis for the idea comes from an event held annually in Edmonton, also founded by Mr. McInnis, which is currently in its 11th year of success supporting the local Christmas charity. The 4WDCC, as it is known to Club Members, is just one of many ways in which our wide ranging and varied group of Jeep owners give back to the various communities in which our Membership is based.
The Westman Jeep Association actively promotes the Jeep brand of vehicles and encourages responsible 4WD and trail driving practices throughout South-western Manitoba. Education and awareness is the first step along the long and winding trail to preserving our lands for the enjoyment of generations of Jeepers to come.
