There is a new food truck on the west end of Victoria Ave right across the highway from Mulligans driving range named “Pork Floyd". They are serving a partial menu this weekend as they are still waiting for a couple pieces of kitchen equipment but the pulled pork sandwiches are excellent! They also have 11 or 12 flavours of Chapman’s Ice cream. Here is a link to the their Facebook page….

I assume with that location they may not be permitted in Brandon yet.

We were at the parade this morning and there was a cool blue ice cream truck in. It looks like they're going to sell different frozen stuff as well as ice cream.

I've heard that the new ice cream truck will be in the HLC parking lot at Brandon University on 18th and Victoria. So that's a spot in town. Maybe because the property is private and not city?

Oh the irony is probably more delicious than the ice cream.

I wonder if it's the guy who used to own Newfie's Cafe, I recall he was planning on starting up a bacon/pork themed food truck.  
 
I looooove a good pulled pork meal so I hope they'll be serving food in Brandon soon! I hope one day we see a bit of a food truck culture like most other cities have now days (ie Broadway at lunch time in Winnipeg)

It's another party that bought the truck from the Newfie's Café fellow. Apparently, Dwayne moved back to the east coast. It was mentioned in the Brandon Sun maybe a couple of weeks ago or so in the business column.  
 
Good luck to the new owners. I'll certainly check out their food truck. Love the name and it sounds like food I want to try.

First off, thanks for the recognition and well wishes from everyone so far!! We truly appreciate the support from the community!  
We had a great lunch run today and are now preparing for supper. Come out and try our pulled pork, or bring the family for ice cream. We will be open until 9:00 this evening.

The truck at the Global Market called Sticks & Cones,,,,oh they have deep fried perogies that are so good, and my husband says it was the best burger he has eaten in a long time. We will certainly be back there! Will have to try this Pork truck before I can comment! Maybe tonight!
