Hello everyone,  
 
The residents of Valleyview Care Centre will be hosting a raffle-fundraiser on Friday, November 27th. A few years ago, the residents joined together and raised the money to purchase their very own handi-van, so that everyone would have an equal opportunity to continue to explore Brandon. The handi-van is not an option for 80% of our residents, who live in the care home because they require a staff with them at all times. Recently, the van needed some repairs and their account was short to pay the bill, so we are working together to ensure the residents can hold onto this independence and continue to enjoy their lives outside of the facility.  
 
We would be very grateful for donations and/or gift baskets for the event. Tickets will be going for sale as of tomorrow, $2.00 each, or 3 for $5.00.
