Dolphins, Japan: Please help get the word out!!!!

I have just recently seen a documentary called The Cove released Tuesday December 8, 2009 (dvd/video). I was appalled that I hadn't heard about this before For anyone wondering it is about the dolphin slaughters that are going on constantly in japan.
This is the website with all kinds of information. The only downside is that it's all USA run and I can't seem to find any way that canada is involved or even would be involved.
Canada is not even a member of the IWC which was formed to put a stop to situations like this.
If anyone knows somebody in power in manitoba or canada that we can write to in order to get this information out there and put a stop to this atrocity please let me know.
