Anyone who can help...I am trying to restore my son's ipod because he set a password and can't remember it. I've gotten so far as to figure out how to do that, but it tries for about 1/2 an hour, then says it has timed out. Is this because I have crappy xplornet and it is too slow? Or am I doing something wrong? If it is the xpornet can I take it to someone else's computer, sync it and then try it from there...and then bring it back to my computer and sync it again? It also said there was a download available but wouldn't let me do that either...any advice appreciated (except telling me to cancel xplornet and get better service because if I could afford to get out of the contract and get something else I would have done that long ago!!)...thanks!
