Out in the 100 block of 30th. My dinner is only half cooked. Might be a salad kind of night....

Still no power at the West end of town but Hydro twitter feed indicated all of Brandon power are restored. Strange.

Mb hydro must not really be updating their map on their website. Says last updated 9pm but my power has been restored in riverheights area for a few hours already. Wonder how many houses are still without power?

With the day they have had, I’m sure the last thing MB hydro is concerned about is updating the website. Besides, wouldn’t you know your power is restored when your lights come back on?? Thankful for the workers today, job well done!

Loud noise and a flash not unlike lightning every couple minutes for at least the last half hour in South end of Brandon. I'm no pro but I'll put in a guess that its a downed line in the area somewhere. Hydro knows about it and is investigating, but in the mean time if out driving or an early morning walk keep your eyes open!
