parental discretion

My question to all ebrandoners is this: Do you send your kids to school if it is a parental discretion day? I mean if they get a ride there and not outside walking of course.
I'm just curious as what everyone else does because when I was a kid my father always drove me to school if the buses were not running, I can remember pushing the truck out of numerous snowbanks just to get me to school.
