2 PM - hide those cars....hail potential heading towards Brandon area!

Reed Timmer is also suggesting Killarney could have strong potential for severe weather this evening....

Wondering what sort of storm went through Brandon, we had three move through out here and two had hail and the last which came in from the northwest has really high wind. Didn't check the rain gauge yet, likely way to much again, the hail in the first storm was pea sized and lots of it, second storm had golf ball sized hail but it was flat not round and not much of it. With the change in the wind we might be done for the day.

I dumped 2 inches out of the rain gauge the other day, and now there's a little over 2 inches in it again!

Farmers Feed the World said "Reid timmer is a putz. He isn't a meteorologist he is just a guy chasing storms. Any body can learn to read the weather forecasts and extrapolate like he does in a one day weather course. "

He may not be a meteorologist but he tends to be correct more often than those guys in the Winnipeg weather office. He's been talking about this weekend since [i]last[/i] weekend.

Actually Reed does have a PhD in Meteorology. (I learned that from the internets in less than a minute

)
