Hi...wandering if anyone else has water in their basements...My basement has been damp for weeks...have 2 dehumidifiers going...fans...sump pump is filling up...with all the rain yesterday is starting running in from 2 sides...all the ease drops have been cleaned twice in a month...is it just the ground being so wet?...this wonderful weather we are having..its so frustrating cause all summer with all the storms I had no water in it...and now its November and its wet...gr gr...

Yes, the water table is quite high right now, the rain yesterday hasn't helped. Our pump has been going pretty much non-stop for a few weeks now, pumping water out from under our slab/weeping tiles. Apparently in the fall, the levels can rise sharply as the trees stop taking up water. That's what happened at our house - our pump literally didn't run all summer and then suddenly started one afternoon and hasn't stopped since. We even had the city guys come and to make sure it was ground water not a broken main under our house because it was so much water so abruptly.
