I am just wondering who the best cell provider is? I just went to renew my contract and they want 40$ Extra for both phones a month, so 80$ total. But the worst part is that’s with the lowest iPhone. So not even a good phone. Is there anywhere that’s cheaper but still holds a good cell service for a lot of Canada not just mb

Basically your options are Bell, Telus and Rogers.  
 
Bell and Telus have almost identical coverage, Rogers has slightly less overall.  
 
It really comes down to checking each carriers website and seeing who currently has a better promo or deal running.  
 
There are the smaller carriers but they all run off the main 3 networks and then you get lower priority for calls and data. If you go with virgin ( bell ) and you try and make a call, at the same time an actual Bell customer makes a call, the Bell customer will have priority over the virgin customer. That's a simplified way to view it but basically is what happens.  
 
Personal preference and past experience tied with any current promos is the only difference between them now, realistically.

I’m with a Bell, have been for fourteen years. It’s ok , service is mediocre at best and they just emailed me telling me that my monthly bill will increase by $3 in March. I think that they should make the investment in infrastructure that they promise to improve their service but of course without competition they won’t bother.

I have been with Rogers for a long time and I have no issues. No matter who you go to you are going to pay a lot for a phone ( no more free phones) and the plans. You just need to decide what you need and go to each place and see what the deals are. I like that my plan i:ncludes long distance ( not sure if any other company offers that) so I can call family around Canada and not pay extra. Good luck

We switched to Public Mobile over a year ago. We have had no issue with the service and pay a lot less than when we were with Bell.  
 
You order their SIM card online and set up your plan on their website. There are perks if you use autopay. If you are interested, I also have a referral code that can give you $10 off your first bill. So far, so good for us!
