Blackberry Question
9/23/2010 at 8:18 PM
So I got a blackberry curve 8330 (or something like that)from the local CDMA carrier about a year or so ago. I like the phone and everything about it, minus the track ball. I've had to replace it twice in the last year, and don't really want to be doing it for the whole of the contract. So I was thinking of a buyout, but that's at least $400 since its a legnthy contract (I'm not complaining, I know what I was signing). If I upgrade to another blackberry, they will knock $100 off apperenty, but its still rather steep. For an issue which is known to be common (a sales rep told me the trackballs are being done away with for that reason).
So it got me thinking................if I get an "updated" model from somewhere else and bring it in and ask them to switch it over, would I still need a new contract?
