Ok - going from a tin cans with strings to a BlackBerry was a jump but I did it lol.  
 
Anyways Battery tech has changed in the last years so I need updates here. I hear that some BlackBerrys on some corp plans eat batteries. The push email is the problem or part of it.  
 
Anyways my question(s) is- Do I keep that bugger plugged in when at home? First time I charged it there was lots of heat so I think not but??  
 
I guess I am really asking from Blackberry users is what is the best way to make the battery last "longer".  
 
Any other tips for a BlackBerry "newbie" is welcome.
