I have noticed that more and more photos posted on eBrandon classifieds are up-side-down or sideways. Don't people know how to properly take pictures with their phones? Please, if you are going to take pictures with your phone to post online, know which way is up.

that isn't always the case. There have been numerous times when the image rotates and I have to try repost it over and over again until it corrects itself.

I just Googled "orientation of photos taken with phones" and I found this problem is very common for a lot of people. I haven't got to the part where someone tells how to fix it. HAHA

It happens to me too, and I only post from the desktop. So I delete the picture from the ad, open it in a picture viewer, rotate it all the way around, and repost it. It always fixes the problem, even though nothing has really changed. Weird

Have taken plenty of pictures with a camera, saved their orientation properly, and when uploading here they have rotated. Not sure how to go about correcting that?

I've taken pictures with a real camera, and my phone (not an iPhone). Seems to happen randomly, with either device.

If you could send a support request through the Contact & Support link at the bottom of the page we'll dig deeper and sort things out. It to my knowledge is an issue specific to iOS/Apple devices but we can work together to see if there's something specific to your camera model.

I have to agree. It is irksome to see pictures sideways or upside down. If I am checking out the classifieds and see pictures that are not orientated correctly I just skim over them. I know it sounds silly but it bugs me enough to not bother with them.
