I'm looking for a cell plan with unlimited data.  
Don't need a phone as my old is still good.  
Also I'm currently with Rogers, and not sure if I can keep the number in case I'm switching the provider.  
Any suggestions would be great.

Actually I recommend MTS: you get service all over MB unlike other cell providers, where you only get service in the city. They have this thing called MyPlan, where you just build your own plan, and you choose what services you need and what you don't, such as unlimited data, how many minutes per week for calling and such, etc. It starts at a base plan of $20 which includes caller ID, voicemail, unlimited texting, picture/video messaging, unlimited calling to fellow MTS members in MB.  
 
Their unlimited data is Canada-wide, but as unlimited data goes, it gets throttled once you reach a certain limit (I'm not entirely sure what that limit is), so it'll be slower but you will still have nationwide data.

I was with MTS carried my phone number over with the new company. I will stay with them....

I believe that the only unlimited cell data is mts. You can take your number from company to company. I have mts for home internet and Rogers cell. Unlimited Canada calling and text, 6 Gbps data for 56 bucks a month. I do like the 5 bucks per day USA plan when we visit down there.

My MTS bill is only about $32 for wireless. I have there total internet that saved me close to $30 a month.  
 
If you have internet at your house, I'd look into switching that to MTS as well and paying the $60 for total Internet, and then using that as your phone plan as well!

If your going out of province ever there national. And there data speeds are way faster.
