Hi - please help, newbie at this - I'm selling an old iPhone to someone and just wondering what I need to do before handing it over?  
Just a factory re-set - and that will clear all the data from phone and it'll be secure?  
Do I sell with SIM card or take that out?  
Anything else I need to do?!

Best thing to do to make sure take it into any MTS Connect Store (Coral Centre staff are great) or call them, they will provide the best information for you. They will also give you the best advise in regards to your sim card.

I sold mine on ebrandon a while ago, all I did was a factory reset and all seemed to be fine.

Make sure the "turn my iPhone" is off. If not, and they try to factory reset it they have to enter your email and password or it's as good as a paper weight!

the sims is hooked up to your info so they will need a new one, either the one they have or new purchase, to put in the phone, if you give them yours then you will be paying for their service

Thanks for the responses - followed all responses - got it reset and pulled the SIM card and called MTS! Good to go now!
