Any opinions on this phone? Currently have an iPhone 5S and would like to upgrade to an Android...

have a samsung galaxy s6 I like it and s6 edge is the same but curved edge. My only concern would be is the glass edge easier for damage if hit somehow.  
Galaxy s6 is better than previous s series.

Samsung s6 has non-expandable memory. Get the s7 instead, they brought it back with the new phone.

The only feature that the edge has is the edge. And it's useless.  
 
Just get a 6s.

The S6 is an amazing device, but if you can afford it, buy the S7. It is currently the best smartphone on the market. Amazing specs, build quality, huge battery, amazing camera, beautiful quad hd screen, waterproof, and has expandable storage via micro SD. That being said, the S6 is no slouch. It does not however have expandable storage and the battery capacity leaves something to be desired. It does feature a fast charge that will allow you to top it up in 15 minutes. Good luck!

I got the S6 but not the Edge-nice phone except the battery runs down quickly-fast charge does offset that. S7 looks much improved but then again it costs $400 on a 2 year contract. S6 is now free and the Edge is around $150? The Edge has a few extras that you don't get on the plain S6 but those extras were not anything I needed.

Really happy with it, as I have never been an Iphone user so it is a great choice to go to for Android, but for the few things that the edge has over a regular, don't pay more money for one. I got mine during boxing week sale when they were the same price, and rarely make use of the edge features.

S6 is nice, Edge is kinda useless. S7 is better, with a slot for an SD card. I'm not a fan of how long it takes Samsung to push out software updates, I'd probably get a Nexus 5x.

recommend it!! I have one and its amazing. The edge is awesome I have the weather and news on my edge notifications and at night the time date weather come up so if your like me you don't have to hit the power button and turn the screen on to see the time. As far as I know mts has them on sale 99 bucks for 16 gig or 150 for 64 gig....I got the 64 gig and love it. Also curved glass isn't any more or less breakable then regular phones ive dropped mine not in a case a few times and nothings broken on it. I do recommend a case though as phone is slippery. If you do get it take a few days to play around with its features and widgets.
