A couple of months ago MTS increased my land line by $5 with no warning, however it was apparently in the junk mail they put in the envelope but I get my bill online.

Today I got my bill for the next month and my total internet has now gone up $5. So there is a minimum additional $120 a year to MTS. When Bell takes over MTS our Premier Pallister says costs will no doubt go up but we will have better service, well I sure don't know what will be any better.

No doubt my cell bill will go up in a year and a half as I locked in for 2 years. It is really to bad that we couldn't get a U.S. plan down in North Dakota that would work up here becasue costs are getting ridiculous.

But you keep paying more for less service all the time too. I got the total Internat plan and im sure glad I don't have to rely on that. Nowhere in town do you get a full signal aside from a few select tiny spots. Where I work, signal is so bad I can't even send a text yet there is no discount for that. I mean full price should equal full service.

We switched to Rogers home phone a while back. We pay $10/month...free long distance in Canada and free call display etc....

I used to love my MTS services. Now every 3 weeks I have to call them about my Internet not working properly! There's only 2 of us that live here using no more than 2 devices at once. Netflix shouldn't have to buffer every 5 minutes. It used to work great for years. It's the same with my cell service, I can't make calls inside of my house because the reception is so poor. It wasn't always like that, that's what makes it so frustrating. No matter how many times I call to say to fix it, they've always have excuses as to why my services don't work the way they're supposed to.

Mts TV also just went up

Received tv and Internet bill yesterday and the TV service went up almost $10/month.

Due to the increases and lack of service or poor service at best with MTS. Switching companies sounds ideal.

MTS needs to get the cost for service up so we can't blame BELL for screwing us over.

Or

MTS needs to get so bad that we beg to pay twice the price for service from BELL.

I'm guessing option 2. Theres no reason why MTS is this bad now. It wasn't before. Yes then Bell will be the heros then jack the rates sky high.
