The "bloatware" that comes with Samsung phones is nothing. In fact, I find them useful. Battery life is great on the S7. Best of luck. " |

The lack of wireless charging on the Pixel is a bummer if you've gotten used to it (I was sad to give it up when I switched from my Nexus), but quick charging is a decent alternative.
The bloatware is a personal preference. Those who started out on Samsung probably don't mind, but after using stock Android for years, it's just a painful kludge in my eyes.
The resolution thing really doesn't matter at all. If it did, Apple's so called "Retina" screens wouldn't be the have one of the lowest pixel densities on the market. A lower resolution means better battery life, and as long as it's not too low (like on the really cheap android phones), you'll never notice it.
Samsung makes EXCELLENT hardware - if OP goes that route, they likely won't be disappointed. I just don't like their software.
