Help please with new Tablet

I've had to buy a new Tablet. It's an RCA 7 Voyager. I can't connect to wifi because I don't know my password: someone set up my last Tablet for me. I've checked online how to retrieve my password & all instructions have approx. 10-12 steps, all seeming very technical to me!
I have a "mydlink" modem to connect to wifi.
Can anyone help me with this?

Factory Reset

Most DLink routers can be factory reset quite easily. Should be a reset button on the back or bottom but google the instructions for your particular model. Then just set up your wifi network and password again.

What model D-Link modem do you have?

The factory P/W setting is the last 5 digits of the S/N. Look on the bottom of the router.

If that doesn't work, there should be a "RESET" button on the back of the modem. I believe if you press that button (with the power on), everything will reset. Then start over from scratch. The password may reset to the factory setting, but I'm not sure.

all that's on my D-Link modem is : Nom Wi-Fi (SSID) 2.4GHz dlink-7360

It has to have a serial number on it somewhere.

Easy Way

Go into the command line from another computer that is connected to your internet (type CMD into the search menu).

TYPE:
netsh wlan show profile name=labnol key=clear | findstr Key

replacing "labnol" with the name of your wifi network
