Canada Revenue Agency Scam

I got an email from supposedly Canada Revenue Agency stating this was a reminder to deposit a cheque for over $400 by an interac system into my account and to do it by a specific date in June or this cheque would expire. Fortunately a call to Canada Revenue revealed this is a scam. Anyone reading this, please advise family, friends and especially seniors who could fall into this trap. Delete this msg should you receive it.
