I'm looking for the cheapest small succulents I can find, as i need them for a classroom mothers day project. Any leads would be appreciated! Canadian tire and Safeway are $4+ each.

Have you checked some buy & sell sites online? In the Brandon & Area Buy & Sell a Brandon lady was selling a huge plant ($25) which you might be able to split into however many plants you need. Erickson & Area Bulletin Board also had the Killarney Water Treatment Plant ad for cactus for $2 each.

I just checked kijiji & someone is selling what looks to be a fairly large flat of hens & chicks for $20 a flat. Tel. # given in ad is 204-654-2281. How many plants do you need? I have hens & chicks in my garden but I'm not sure whether they survived the winter. I could check if you get desperate (?).
