Selling Hair

Has anyone sold their hair before and if so what do you need to do and where do you go?
I’ve looked online and there are places that will buy hair but it needs to be prepared before hand. Is there a place in Brandon or Winnipeg (I suppose) that can cut hair and prepare it to sell? Are there any places in Canada that you have sold hair to?

You could donate it to women, men and children who have lost their hair from cancer treatments. Very beautiful wigs are made and it’s an incredible gift to give. Cancer care or someone on here would know who to contact.

Actually friends and I were just discussing this last night and one said they no longer accept real hair. I don’t know if this is true or not though. Something to look into

My stepdaughter was told that there is no demand for real hair anymore. She was so disappointed because she wanted to donate hair a second time but they just don’t want it.

Alberta Cancer/Tom Baker Cancer Centre. Some folks will also take it to make wigs . Try Ontario and Alberta websites and hair forums or even Pinterest .
