My daughter takes welding as well.

We get her leather steel toed Caterpillar boots from Mark's. Spent $200, but they will last long into apprenticeships as well. There are cheaper ones in women's section as well, but they should be 100% leather for welding.
Coveralls I order online from a place in the USA. That way I can get Carhartt womens fire retardant coveralls that fit her right. And look good. Navy blue, no reflective stripping, welders collar. They are about $120 USplus shipping for new. I always keep an extra set on hand, so I actually have a size medium if you want to buy them. My daughter wears a size xs, but the place I get from doesn't always have all the coveralls or many sizes in stock. Everywhere else sells for over $200 USD a pair.

Just looked at the womens flame resistant Carhartt. They are now $137.99 plus shipping. But they are excellent quality. My daughter is still using her first pair.
Innovair (the welding supply store on 1rst street, by Crocus) sells women's cow hide welding gloves for about $16/pr. They are vastly better than the free ones the school provides. Plus they fit a million times better, too. They also sell Jesse Coombs/Lincoln Electric women's welding jackets. I can't remember the price. I think it was around $100. If you go this route, make sure your daughter wears 100% cotton denim pants with it, boot cut, not skinny Jean's. Pants must go over top of the steel toed boot.
If your daughter loves welding, consider getting her a welding helmet. Lincoln Electric auto darkening welding helmet comes on sale at Canadian Tire sometimes for 80% off. Which brings them down to about $40. My daughter got hers for Christmas in grade 9.
(My daughter is in grade 11 now. She took grade 9 & 10 welding in grade 9) so she will graduate finishing her auto tech and welding plus AP Pre-Calc and AP English.
