Hi people! I'm wanting to know where is the best place to buy a microwave? Our Sunbeam 1.0 cu. ft. one bit the dust. It lasted many years.  
What brand do you have? Is it a good performer?  
I would like to have a look at the unit before buying it, not just read about it on the outside of the box!

Canadian Tire or Home Hardware give you a 1 year warranty, that if anything goes wrong, just return it and they will give you another one. At least they use to, so I am thinking they still will. I buy all my small appliances usually from them.  
 
I have a panasonic microwave for probably about 15 years and still works great. Stay away from Master Chef. Bought for my daughter and gave out in less than a year.

My panasonic owes me nothing, mine is same age as pauliercracker, going on 15+ years of dependable service.  
 
I would buy another panasonic if this one ever dies, I'm pretty sure i bought it either at the brick or home depot, can't remember its been so long  
 
Its a fairly basic unit, no fancy settings or bells and whistles, think I paid around $100 or $150 for it at the time
