In another discussion grp there was mention made of a few in Bdn holding sway over the commerce in our city. That brought to mind if you research the names involved in the business sector here, the same ones appear time and time again…different company names, perhaps providing the same or complimentary service as another but yet the same owners/operators. Nothing wrong with that and applause for their entrepreneurship, but it does cause one to ponder, do we have a competitive environment in this city, or do so many of the same families own so many of the same companies that there is little to none?
