When it comes to virtually anything related to vehicles there is big savings heading to the US. In my case Minot is under a 2 hr drive and 1 hr to Brandon. Recent vehicle part price from dealership in Brandon was $480 and same part out of Minot dealership was $260. I'd rather buy local, but the "GAP" must close first! The same occurs for many "jobber" parts. Rebuilt power steering pump $350 in Canada and $180 in US. Power window replacement motor was $52 Canada and $35 US. Something to consider especially on larger ticket items.
