Can anyone give a recommendation of where to get a ring appraised for insurance purposes? Also price? Did you have to send it away or was it done in Brandon? How long did it take? Thanks!

I second Reesor's. It was the only place I found that was reasonably priced and didn't have to send my ring away for weeks. It was ready the same day and was only $50.

$50.00 price per ring....I have a wedding set of three.....so would that be $150.00?

I was going to get some stuff appraised and it was $50 for the first one or two and the third item was less (I can''t recall exactly, and I cannot for the life of me find the card right now).  
 
Now, it will depend on if the three pieces are soldered together too. Best to call and get a quote. I was going to get my wedding set (two rings together) and some earrings and a necklace done and was quoted for three items.  
 
Also sometimes they will advertise a day that they do a blitz with special pricing. I used to work in jewellery and once or twice a year the company I worked for would set up for a weekend at reduced rates to generate more business. Now because they have their own gemologist they may not do that at Reesors.
