2006 polaris 600 ho problem

the sled starts great. but when you start it the gauges work for a couple of seconds and than go blank? when first started the tach goes to the top and than back to about 2000 where it should be. the digital gauge reads 0 for speed. than the tach goes to 0 and the digital gauge goes blank. the snomobile keeps running like nothing happened. any input is greatly appreciated.
