I've had the same company for a few years and in the market for a new company. Looking for recommendations for someone to come in 3 or 4 times during the season to apply fertilizer and weed control.

We’ve used them for years with no complaints.

Even really work now? The last few years, the weeds still come and take over, even after they’ve been treated. It seems to just stop working.

Well I know of one company, that their products simply do not work. I used them one season, and never again. Weeds after weeds, and I complained about this company as most lawns that I see that use the same company have weeds as well and no improvement over the season.  
 
I would recommended Livingstone, I've seen yards that they spray and their product is quite good, same goes with Alternative. Third would be Absolute.

They are all about the same - not very effective... But that is because the Government banned anything that is actually any good and works so the companies are limited to what they can apply. DIY works the best but obviously not everyone wants to do that. There is only 1 company I would not use but since this is eBrandon I can't tell you which one so hopefully you don't pick them!!

Absolute for 4 years now and buy their economy program. It works adequately to control the weeds that are present when they spray. They come a couple times a summer and spray. Howeve,r this is only part of weed control. Keep your lawn a bit longer and let it thicken up and it will choke out most of the dandelions and weeds. If you cut it real short the ground hard pans and the weeds love that you are thinning the lawn and allowing them to grow and take over aggressively. I cut twice per week on the mowers highest setting. very few weeds!
