I'm looking to do some reno in my little home, and I'm looking for ideas and possibly help in DIY reno.  
 
From flooring, to painting, etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The best advice I can give you is if your doing it yourself and saving tons of money then dont cheap out on the quality of material and second take your time, the saying measure twice cut once is a very true meaning even for professionals lol. Other than that actual advice on how to do the work I mean no ones going to really be able to help you with that unless they were literally helping you so my best advice with that is research research research, go on youtube and one tons of different videos dont watch just the same person because not everyone knows what there talking about or knows secrets another person might. Now as far as material if you want help on what material to get well that's your preference but same thing research research research just because its expensive or looks really cool dosent mean it works good check reviews on multiple sights and search for price comparisons at the same time you would be surprised how much the exact same item or something very similar can be drastically higher or lower somewhere else. So just take your time with everything plan everything out and when you budget dont forget the small things ex. Electrical covers,nails,screws,little finishing things, caulking,silicone the list can go on forever and most people forget these items and they add up fast. Anyways good luck it is fun if you make it fun. Oh and have the proper tools it makes a huge difference saves on stress time and quality

There are some great YouTube videos out there for DIY, depending on what you are doing. Myself, I do not trust myself for stuff like electrical or plumbing, but I have learned about drywalling, the whole mudding process and corner beads, ect (I also found out that I do not like to finish drywall lol).  
 
As for ideas (such as paint colors or decor), I use Google, type in something along the lives of what I might be looking for, than go through the pictures. I have found out that I would like both my bathrooms to have a wainscott kind of look to them, so I found different picture examples and saved them as reference.  
 
Also check out the second hand building stores (Refit and I forget the other), there are lots of items you can find at a lower price than stores, and a lot still in good shape. We bought our second bathroom door from the one on Rosser for $25, and the framey thing (it has a name I just cant think of it) for the door was another $25. When we were looking at places that sold doors like Windsor, their low price doors were still over $100 without the frame thingy.

We looked at several places actually. We didnt just go to Eindsor and give up. We shopped around and priced doors out at all locations, and then someone suggest the refit stores, and I have never been to them, but was plesently surprised at what they had.
