Need new dishwasher

Looking for opinions on your dishwasher purchases as we need a new one. The more I research the more confused I get. What have you purchased in the last couple of years and what is your opinion of it?

Whirlpool dishwasher

I love my whirlpool dishwasher. I got it a year and a half ago and it works beautifully. I looked at a lot of dishwashers before I got mine and saw some features that I just had to have. My new dishwasher had to have a 3rd rack and top controls.

Bosch is supposed to be one of the best brands of dishwashers. I have the least expensive model and love it! We moved and I actually bought the same model and replaced a practically new dishwasher in our new home as the Bosch is a great dishwasher. You can spend a lot, but a repair man will tell you appliance don't last more than 10 years these days so up to you if you want more features.

Jacks Maytag. Good product and awesome service. Many brands including Maytag are part of Whirlpool cooperation so Jacks can easily take care of future parts and service needs.

On the middle ground, I had a Fridgidaire and was happy with it.
I currently have a new Samsung that does not clean that well.
If you budget can take it, Bosch or Miele are good choices.

My old house had a Bosch. It was by far the best dishwasher I have ever owned. We currently have a Maytag and it isn’t very good. When I have to replace, I will spend the extra and get a Bosch as it is well worth it.

I forgot to add I paid around $550-600 on sale. I think the cheapest Bosch (the model I have) is around $650 now.
