Looking to hire moving company to assist with a local move, just wondering if anyone had any experiences with any companies here in brandon and how much they charge? Not too big of a place 2 bedroom to main floor level townhouse.

moved us from a house to a large apt about 3 months ago - dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms, office furniture and several large framed pictures plus TV's and computer and other electronic equipment. They had to disassemble some furniture and reassemble it here - 3 guys had the job done in 4.5 hours - they were very careful with all our stuff - wrapped very well and nothing was damaged or even scratched - we were absolutely 100% satisfied with their service - the guys were excellent workers who obviously had experience in moving - this was a local move and it cost us $780 - plus we also tipped each of the workers. They are usually very busy so you would need to contact them asap - after our move the guys were doing a 2nd move that same day. Anyway we would highly recommend Lawrence Movers.

Any other recommendations?

Awesome service. You basically pay per person /per hour. We had two bedrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen. We did most of the packing and they moved it all for $500.

or theyll charge extra especially for an hour lunch break  
i moved this fall wasnt overly happy with the mover few scratches

I’ve used multiple users over the years and one thing I’ve learned: I won’t call anyone else but Lawrence but book early or you won’t get in. I tend to leave things to the last minute and have had to use others movers in the past... never again. Plan and book early.
