    We have just jack hammered up some old steps and are wondering what to do with it. Is it considered recyclable or will we be charged by the pound at the dump. Guessing it's likely 1500 lbs or so. Just more curious about the cost basically. Thanks.

    Hello, I do know for sure you will be charged at the gate no sure on the full amount but I believe if you under 500 kg it would only be $5 a load

    would be to call Sanitation in the morning. You might get charged the entry fee, but since the concrete won't be going into the main dump but to a site near the scale behind the eco waste building you might not get charged with the over 500 kg fees. In the end the best information will come from calling.

    Concrete at the dump

    There's no charge to dump concrete at the dump. It doesn't go in the landfill when you enter the gate and cross the scale there's a place to the south of the scale to dump concrete.
