I'm looking for tent stakes. The kind that usually are used to stake down the large white party, or rental tents one sees from time to time. You know the ones. They're big enough that one person has to hold it while the other pounds it in with a sledgehammer. I have used every des:criptive term I can think of to google these things but keep coming up with the little ones with the hook that are used for camping. Already called a tent rental place here in town and they don't know where to get stakes. Any ideas?

These say are in stock at Canadian tire also.

Talk to a welding shop, some rebar cut to length with a 90 degree bend on one end would likely work well for your purpose and shouldn't be overly expensive.

PA had military metal tent pegs at the back corner of the store, maybe they still have them.
