when do you stain or seal

pressure treated lumber? I have been on the net and some places say to seal right away as chemicals leak out, others say to wait a year. I will be using cedartone deck boards, is the best choice is to just use a clear coat sealer? What are the best brands of sealers or stains for a deck floor? I have no idea of what I am doing so I really need your advice. Thanks
