I "inherited" a Intex swimming pool, however, the plug where you are supposed to add the air into on top ring won't stay closed, so all the air leaks out within a matter of minutes. I have tried good ol' duct tape, but of course because of the water it won't stay stuck. And I don't think I can patch it closed because then it would be air filled all the time. This is becoming frustrating and desperately need advice. We are having a family reunion in a couple of weeks (and hopefully with nice weather) we would love to have the pool up and running.
