Sand point well system, leaks and sand in sink

In the last couple of weeks, our pump has been running alot longer than necessary, in the last two days, there has been sand in the tub, the sink, glass, whatever. Today I looked (the pump and pipe is in our basement)and there is leaking at a pipe connection, as well as right near the pump itself. The pump looks like it's rusted to ***. We are new to this stuff and have no idea what to do first! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
