House cleaning

Okay, so I am wondering if there is truth to the many rumors I have heard. I have heard numerous times about people who have other people come into their homes and clean it once a week for $20-$25. As I sit here taking a break from dusting and vacuuming, I want to know if there are any of these "other" people looking for work? This sounds cheap to me, so if so, what is the normal rate?
