Hi everyone, I read on a post and I saw in the commercial of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser that it remove stains and scuff marks off of painted walls, so I used it and it did remove the marks/stains but it left streak marks on the walls that are very visible? Did anyone else experience this? what do I do? Please help!!!

I have "washed" the Magic Eraser streaks off the walls with normal soap and water.  
Kinda makes double the work, but the eraser does harder stains.

slightly off topic but a tip that will save you tonnes of elbow grease. When washing walls always start at the bottom. When you start at the top the water slides down the wall leaving a trail of ickies behind. that stuff can be hardest to remove. If you wash the bottom fist, it is already cleaned and partly wet so ickies do not stick to the wall.

Sounds like you got a case of the 'extra clean streakies'. They happen when you spot clean your seemingly clean walls with a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser and can only be fixed by burning your house down.

I've been in your shoes. The sucky lesson is that you've cleaned your walls too well...in some spots. I've found that by washing the whole wall (sorry!!) and NOT washing the Magic Eraser spots helps to blend and fade in the "streaks". This I figured out after going bankrupt by buying magic erasers and using the logic that I can do ALL of the walls with 'em. Don't do that. Unless you are rich and love to scrub walls like a mad person! LOL

I learned the hard way...only use magic erasers on clean walls, or walls you plan to clean.  
 
Also, a huge time saver/back ache preventor is buying a cheap, sponge style mop that you can ring out! I use it to scrub my walls down, and then quickly go over them with a damp, lint free cloth to ensure no streak marks!

of using those erasers, use TSP. It will remove almost anything without damage or streaks. I know ... It took permanent marker off an oak entertainment system without any damage. Keep using today to remove scuff marks etc off walls. No scrubbing required.
