Hi All!  
 
I am looking for information on where to go to get a quote on adding a raised basement to my home. I have an older house with just an old cement basement that is only used for the furnace, water heater and storage. The foundation isn't 100% so I am thinking that majority of it will have to be redone. I am looking to find quotes from companies (or a company) so that I have a better idea of what I am looking at.  
 
I am assuming that I will need to contact a house moving company as well as a construction company, but I am pretty lost on where to start! Any help or info on the procedure will be much appreciated!

Based on our experience, moving a house off its foundation, rebuilding with Superform (concrete), moving back on - count on a minimum of $50K just for the concrete. We spent well over $100K - but ended with a fully finished basement that was worth every penny. A wood framed basement is probably cheaper.  
 
It takes at least 3 weeks for the concrete to cure enough to move the house back on. So count on living out of your home expenses too.
