The Whirlpool never worked well, have to trash it. Have been checking reviews and they are confusing. Can anyone share experiences please, good or bad, with their own dishwashers so I can try to decide what is a good choice? All I want is something dependable where the dishes come out clean. Thanks!!

I installed a GE dishwasher and it works better than any one I have had before. I just rinse out the filter once a month and it works perfect.

We found a Bosch on sale at home depot. It's been a good reliable unit. They are a little more costly but if you pay peanuts sometimes you get monkeys!

haha on peanuts and monkeys, circuses and elephants! Yes, willing to pay more for something that can be depended on to work.

and it is quiet and works awesome, also, didn't cost and arm and a leg.

I have the least expensive Bosch from Future Shop (know it had changed names). It is amazing!

I just bought a Bosch a few months ago and i couldnt be happier! So far it is well worth the extra money... The dishes actually come out clean! Lol good luck to you!

have an Eletrolux and i hate: the trays setting and washing. fancy and higher price than my GE but not worth it

about Maytag? Any reviews on Maytag Dishwashers and other appliances?

I use to sell them.  
When it comes to a dishwasher, you get what you paid for.  
If you want it to be super quiet, have a food processor in it, and last a long time then look into a more expensive one. If you can find an expensive one one sale then bonus.  
Look at spending 300 or more.  
Some of the best out there are kitchen aid, and Bosch.  
A cheap dishwasher will only do as good of a job as the price you paid for it.

Get anything but LG or Samsung. Ive had my LG for 2 years now, need to replace the little incenerator blade.  
I wouldnt recommend LG or Samsung for any type of kitchen or laundry appliance. All my appliances are either or and nothing but problems, and dont think that spending a grand more on the brand will make a dfference, it wont.

We bought a Bosch and it is amazing. Probably around $600. Really quiet for open concept houses and gets dishes clean.

I've had 2 Maytag dishwashers. The first didn't last due to a recall and a renovation. The second one, within 2 years all the trays and racks were breaking. It works awesome, but I need to replace both the upper and lower racks and the cutlery tray.  
 
Will never buy another one.

We have a Kenmore, it's been awesome since we got it in 2009. Definitely recommend getting a steel tub, we love ours!

I did look into Maytag, short term reviews were raving about how wonderful, but found longer term reviews lots of complaints especially about having to replace the control panel. Also had read the hype about Samsung, but then some reviews said the waterwall technology leaves much to desired as always breaking down. I would never buy a Whirlpool again, either as a dishwasher or washing machine.

Ge was over $900 and worked fine especially with well water but my electolux with city water valued $1000 doesn t clean much. Electrolux is very more quiet i find 3 trays aren t designed well. An appliance repairman told me than when people favour a brand over another brand do not realize that they are same compnay only using different name
