    Property Maintenance Bylaw

    I have been reading the bylaws, but I can't find the information I am looking for. Are the there any rules/bylaws about property maintenance? I have a neighbor who is not maintaining his property well. The front hedge is so overgrown that we can't walk on the sidewalk.

    I just e-mailed the contact number under bylaws for the exact same reason and from the day I e-mailed (I think Wed.), the grass was cut on Friday.  
     
    I think I went to I WANT (top of the page) sent me to another page and where it said REPORT AN ISSUE. (City of Brandon Website)

    As far as I know, bushes, trees, etc on private property can't intrude into public space like sidewalks. It's up to the homeowner to keep them cut.

    I have submitted the issue using the online form. I wonder how long it will take before the owners are contacted. I think it is a rental.

    What do you do when your neighbor does not pick up the dog poo on their yard??? Is this their right to just let it build piles? or what does a neighbor do - or a visitor to someones place do when they see this happening???
