I'm looking at the Dyson wireless vacuum. Anyone have one...

we have the cordless unit, love it. Keeps a charge, has great suction power, light weight, pivoting head, easy to manoeuvre, easy to empty, its been the best.

We had one and it's awful! Doesn't keep a charge for very long, I couldnt even vacuum all the hard floors on my main floor before it dies. We took it back. Worst $400 we spent. Suction was also awful.

and if that is turned on, it dosen't hold the charge as long, its made for a burst of power. Perhaps that is why it didn't hold a charge? ours hold for kitchen/LR/ 2 baths and 2 bedrooms, plus the hallway in between, and more. Never an issue.

What model do you have that you like? I am also interested in them for an elderly lady so there is no cord or hose to trip over.

I'd like to hear more reviews. I think most people are looking for a perfect vacuum ... I know I am. How are these with pet hair? Now that we only have one dog and not two and two cats it is not as big of an issue but I still seem to go to the 'pet hair' models. I think they do pick up better than others. How is Dyson with pet hair?

I received the Dyson V6 Animal for Christmas, was about $600. BEST MONEY EVER SPENT. Suction is great on the turbo mode; gets more than my central vacuum ever could. I, unlike a lot of people, read the instructions, and in black and white, they said that it will keep charge in regular mode for something like 20 minutes and in turbo mode something like 12. No concern for me - clean one room at a time, vacuum, charge, next room. Kind of sucks when I'm doing the carpeted stairs, those I have to do over two days!! The canister is small for me (large dog who sheds lots) but that's really the only negative I have! Love, love, love this product!! Highly recommend it!
