I am looking for advice on paint colours for a kitchen, dining room, master bed and living room. The dining room currently has dark wood over half way up the wall and I'm not sure if it should be left or painted. I am leaning towards mostly darker colours: lilac and white for kitchen, magenta and white for dining room, a deep teal for the living room and a dark grey for the master bed.  
Any ideas/advice is appreciated. I have uploaded photos.

Honestly, asking for opinions on here for specifics like colours probably isn't going to be that helpful. You are the person who's going to live in the space, you need to make it a place you like. My only suggestion would be to browse decorating sites online or look through some magazines or books to try and get an idea of what you like and go from there. Especially in terms of colours.

I hired Shelly Taylor from Tailored Interiors to help pick my paint colours, give me some advice. Best thing I ever did. In the past I have spent so much time/money repainting when didn't like the tone of the colour I chose.

wonderful site for decorating tips and color schemes. I feel the colors you chose are contrasting, rather than complementing each other. You have to look at your furniture and accessories as well when you are choosing such bold colors. If your home is an open floor plan, then colors within the same group provide nice flow thru out. Look on the Benjamin Moore paint site, it shows lots of color combinations.
