Help! We need recommendations of what to do or who to contact around Brandon. Our one wall is starting to cave on our wood foundation, the wood is bowing out. Need to know a good contractor or foundation repair company who can help us out! Thanks

You are going to need a structural engineer to look at that and design a fix or a new foundation before a contractor can do anything. Samson Engineering in town is good and does this stuff all the time

Odds are that the wall is not the problem, it is the ground pressure from outside. Solve that and then the wall can be fixed.

Have done several wood basements. When you say the foundation is bowing out, its moving to the outside or inside?

or backfill depth issue causing buckling on that particular wall. If it is bowing out chances are it is a lateral buckling or bracing issue inside the wall structure itself. Often times a bowing out is caused by lack of bracing at the corners from the side walls adjacent causing deformation in the entire foundation. Don't leave it too long!! Call a structural engineer.
