Hello,  
 
I am newly a mom to a beautiful baby girl. She will be 3 months in a few weeks. I've noticed that there aren't really any mommy groups that meet up regularly. I k ow of the LaLeche group but for many circumstances I am not breastfeeding. I did go for a few meetings and met so many great moms. I enjoyed hearing their struggles and solutions to others. After leaving the group I feel very alone and miss the company of people going through things I am going through. I miss the support. I even miss just adult conversation.  
 
Does Brandon have a group for moms that aren't specifically for a single group? Would there be interest if I were to start something?  
 
Let me know what you think! Not just for moms, dads too.

Thanks for the interest! My first idea was to meet at a coffee shop but with littles around it may be difficult. Then I thought of may e doing a rotation at people's houses? We're all parents here so you don't have to worry about cleaning haha. And that way it's a super casual coffee meet up and it isn't always at one person's place and no cost of renting a place or taking up place in a business. What do you guys think? Maybe do meet ups every 2 weeks?

What do your little ones wear to bed currently? I struggle to know whether my babe is hot or cold or just right at night, and your input would be appreciated!

Yes I would be good to meet up at peoples houses that way the kids can play and everyone may feel more comfortable!

That sounds like a good idea. I would be happy to host some moms and little ones as long as no one minds dogs or dust bunnies!

I have an almost 2 year old but the friendships I have with moms of kids her age started exactly like this... with an ebrandon post! We started a private Facebook page to make it easier for event planning and so that we could all exchange information and ask questions. We went to each other's houses and spent a lot of afternoons at Just4Kidz (Playtime then) because it's free for kids under 1 year! Best of luck with yours togethers Mamas!

Mine just wears sleepers. I used to put a onesie underneath but she woke up sweaty all the time.

I'm just moving into Brandon with my 8 month old baby this coming month. I would be super interested in a Mommy meetup at someone's house. Hopefully I get situated soon so I can entertain as well
