    Daycare openings

    Just wondering if anyone knows of any daycares that have openings that accept subsidy. We have been looking for a while but cant seem to find anything

    You’ll have a better chance getting into a home daycare than a centre.  
    Log onto that gov daycare site to get some providers info. EBrandon and Facebook swap and shops have daycare pages.  
    Summer / fall is a good time when opening happen. Kids move to Kindergarten so that’s when big opening happen.

    As someone else said, waiting lists can be up to 400 kids long. You need to register online at all the daycares that meet your needs and they will contact you when there is an opening. It took me about 4-5 months, but I think others have had to wait much longer. Hope you find something!

    I’m in a small town and we’ve now been on the waiting list for 2 years. I was 12 weeks pregnant when we called and added our name to the list for one child.
