Just want to know what other private providers are charging, and what is provided (breakfast,snack etc) I know what the Y rates are. Also what are parents expectations as far as activities, homework, other things provided for before and after school care? I don’t know many people in Brandon and am just curious what people’s opinions are on this. Thanks

Most private providers do not take before and after school. Reason being is that the limit is 4 kids so unless those 4 kids aren’t there at the time there is no point in taking a child to fill that spot who would not be paying full rate.  
 
That being said if there was the space to work around another child’s schedule then I think $10 for morning or $10 for afternoon would be fair. If provider was responsible for picking up and dropping off then more.

Private provider here...I can’t afford to take school aged children unless they pay for the full rate because we are limited to the 4 spaces
